Description
Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage Vietnamese hand-woven lacquerware basket box with a matching lid. This piece features a striking contrast between the tight, natural bamboo herringbone weave and a high-gloss black lacquer finish. The lacquered sections are elegantly hand-painted with intricate gold gilt floral and botanical scroll motifs. The bottom retains its original, vintage MADE IN VIETNAM paper stamp. These versatile boxes were traditionally made as nesting sets and are perfect today for bohemian decor, vanity storage, trinket holding, or as an eye-catching centerpiece.
